Landslide Investigation
Project Description
Storm Construction Group was engaged by a private client for a landslide investigation after their insurer initially denied coverage. Our team conducted a full site inspection, collaborating with a structural engineer to review existing reports and provide a detailed geotechnical assessment. As part of the investigation, we completed the required site setup, located services, and drilled two core boreholes using hand-operated tight-access drilling equipment to a depth of 4m. We then prepared a thorough geotechnical investigation report with fieldwork results and site observations. This report was instrumental in reversing the insurer's decision, leading them to accept the claim.
